The Arrival of Chef!

Just two hours after a fourteen hour flight from Singapore and a two hour drive on a very wet and windy day, my brother was at the supermarket shopping for today’s meal. He has now taken over the kitchen for the next 17 days. Hooray!!!

As it’s the first feast of the holidays, I’ll share the menu with you as I know some of you are always interested: one of my brother’s “simple” menus, just three choices on the table today!

Toad In The Hole with Black Pudding and Lincolnshire and Cumberland Sausages
or
Roast Chicken Leg with Buttered Carrots and Greens
or
Green Chilli Mac and Cheese

So we’ve all eaten very well, the first magnum of Prosecco of the holidays has been cracked open, and we’re now settled down ready for the Strictly final. Come on Stacey and Kevin!
