Damp Rio

Our first full day here in Rio started off with full sunshine before becoming overcast. I went out for coffee before having a coaching session into Vienna. It went well and then I caught up with some note making to send out to clients who had sessions this last week.

Above all, the wonderful sensations of simply being here shone through. The free walk-out for coffee this morning without the usual satchel full of devices but only enough loose change in my pocket to buy a newspaper and then the unpacking at the start of a holiday period in a favourite place when the stay seems to stretch ahead without limit and the repacking for departure seems an impossibility . . . although we know the end will surely come. For now, it seems that an eternity of freedom stretches ahead.
