Royal Scot

Out early this morning to catch 46100 'Royal Scot' passing north through Bedford on its way to York. A lovely bright clear morning; I went to my usual viewing point but the sun was low in the sky in the direction of the shot. My preferred position would have been to take this from the other side but I would have shooting straight into the sun, so I went for this angle which at least made the shot possible. Unfortunately the weather went downhill later in the day (as did my rugby team who lost 12-16 in a fairly uninspiring match).
