Remembrance Sunday

Today we were asked to bring a long stemmed flower in remembrance of a loved one who had died during the past year.  During the service two ladies put all the flowers together into a couple of beautiful arrangements.  (extra 1)  Very fitting as we remember the sudden death of our walking group friend, Betty.  The hymn for today was 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing.'

Tomorrow the walking group is heading to the Emerald Bluffs, where we will enjoy a Christmas luncheon.  It's only about 1 k, through some wetlands.  Let's hope the rain stays away.
