Sorting Office

I collected a packet from the US and had to cough up £17.48. The £9.48 customs charge is not a problem but I really begrudge the Post Office's £8.00 handling charge especially as they would only accept hard cash so no credit card or cheque cashing charges applied. When I got there two or three of us queued outside as a lady at the head of the queue not collecting a parcel engaged the staff member in a long question and answer session oblivious to the delay she was causing.
