Street Creature

Wandering out for a blip this gloomy afternoon I was struck by the patterns along the side of the street.  It had warmed up to just above freezing after a cold night, and the patches of ice and snow had melted a bit, with the moisture  blackening the surface around them. This was the most striking image--perhaps not to everyone's taste, but I like it :)  A huge contrast to yesterday!
