For children of all ages.
The weather was milder today and brighter than anticipated but we didn't make it to Harlow Carr. We had food from church to take down to the Food Bank in Bingley and I needed something from Boots so Chris suggested we call in at the garden centre for a coffee on the way back. We do this quite often but with Santa Land in full swing the cafe was packed with young children. We didn't mind waiting but they lost our order and then when it came Chris's coffee was cold. Mine was fine but he did mention it to the waiter and as a consequence we got free coffee!
Had a turn around The Snow Zone which leads to Santa Land. So much bling! I noticed that there were very few decorations that incorporated the Nativity though there was one very large display of figures that I could only imagine would go in the grounds of a church.
As we left through these sparkly arches an old lady with a zimmer frame was being helped down to the Christmas grotto. Truly a place for all ages.
I think this will be the place of the real Santa Claus for granddaughter Eda in future years, appropriately in the frozen North!
