In town

I finally got away from my desk today and took the train into town for a meeting.  Christmas shopping was in full swing and the pavements were bustling.  There was a tat Christmas market on at the City Hall (main pic).  At my meeting I had to go up in the big scary all glass lift (see extra).  I managed to get a moody black and white pic of City Hall (the side not festooned with lights), the main building shot through the arch of the cenotaph.  And, finally, I framed a shot of people waiting for the bus, which I Photoshopped up as a watercolour (final extra).  So, a busy picture day to make up for a missed Blip day (Sunday) and so many recent indoor shots.
