River Wear in Durham

Quick visit to Durham after a lovely visit to Mum. Although she had no idea who I was, she told me all about Hilary, who, of course, lives in Switzerland, teaches there, etc. as though I was a complete stranger and the time was many decades ago. It could be upsetting but she was so smiley and cheerful this morning. It is always hard to leave whatever state she is in. Back home for us tomorrow, leaving my sister and her husband doing the twice weekly visits and keeping me up to date. Always lovely to stay with them.
