This chap survives. We found enough mushrooms yesterday that any more harvesting today would have been gluttony. I like the green moss round this a lot. The mushroom is a Falscher Pfifferlinge or False Chanterelle, it is edible but it doesn't taste of much.

We watched a great little film last night Das Wunder von Bern and while it's not the best football film I've ever seen (I think this is), I can wholeheartedly recommend it to you.

Essentially it's about the 1954 World Cup. But it's about a whole lot more than that. Even if you don't like football (there isn't much to see really), it's a very good film.

On a learning German note, I did need the sub-titles but not for everything.
