Cranberry and orange relish
I’m feeling more relaxed about the festivities.
I had a walk around the village, delivering cards in the morning, then made my brandy butter and this cranberry and orange relish. Mr C kindly allowed a snifter of port to go in it. We’ll have this with our roast pheasant and all the rest of the it. Braised red cabbage with apple, roast potatoes, roast carrots and parsnips, bread sauce, sprouts with pancetta and chestnuts, gravy - what have I forgotten? Had #3 daughter been staying for lunch I’d have had to provide you-know-who’s red sauce.
