DAWN ON WINTER SOLSTICE EVE

(if there is such a thing).

Today I have mostly been making the sitting room uninhabitable. This was not the intention.

I have very important visitors due for lunch on Friday and I've managed to turn every downstairs room into a disaster area. I don't even have JazzyB's excuse of having a new kitchen being built - I'm just trying to tidy and clean the place.

I'm going downstairs now. I may be some time...
