Welcome Visitors

Thank goodness the weather has warmed up a bit. Not that I've been anywhere, except to my studio and that only to pile stuff into it that needs to be out of the way when the grandchildren are tearing around the house.  The first arrives tomorrow, so today has been all about making up beds and wrapping the last of the presents, etc, etc, etc.

For a blip, I resorted to the same strategy I used last week -  camera in the front window on a pile of books, cable release plugged in, then I sat on the sofa and fired off a shot every time I noticed a bird.  I was very pleased to get this goldfinch - I haven't seen one for ages.  I hope they keep coming.
