In search of red squirrels

More rain and drizzle and the sensible red squirrels were nowhere to be seen. Had a bit of a walk through some woodland but there were no indicated paths or information about the Wildlife Trust land. Some good fungi about and possibly one squirrel sighting but generally just a bit muddy and wet.

Decided to head home a bit early and managed to get on an earlier ferry. The rain must have been very localised - within half an hour on the motorway, everything was dry.

Back to reality with a bump - son number two to dentist and then book group.
