Litter picking by the Thames

Joined in with a few Adopt a street volunteers to do a litter pick along the Thames to Sonning. It was a fantastic day and there were butterflies and dragonflies around as we picked up bottles, cans and general debris from the meadows around the river. We stopped for a sandwich lunch at the lock keeper's cafe and soaked up the late sunshine. I felt very young - everyone else was retired.

Managed to pick up a card and cake for husband's birthday. Present should follow when I get chance to order it....I really am a very bad wife.
