With Knobs On
Photoshop's an absolute breeze to work when you have one of these custom built interfaces to operate it. There's buttons for every tool within easy reach and sliders for every conceivable adjustment, filter, layer mode and effect, all accessible without going anywhere near a menu bar or palette fly-out.
Ok, I have absolutely no idea what some (any) of these buttons and sliders do other than there's one that goes up to eleven. Some of our talented colleagues do though, and it was for a wee favour to them that I was in here snapping some shots of their shiny knobs for an upcoming magazine interview they're about to do. All very sonically impressive and hi-tech looking. Except for the psychedelic 1970s rug that is.
Wedding reception tonight followed by a weekend of drunken debauchery in the city then a week of recovery.
Have a belter of a weekend folks. With knobs on.
