Catnapping before Christmas

Before I could get to the sink for a face wash Gracie t-t jumped in and curled up for a morning nap.
Although the sun is shining brilliantly at a low angle to the horizon on this shortest day of sun of the year, GTt gets herself blipped.
I also tried a blip of the amaryllis also in the bathroom just to check on the size difference. The stem was about 12 inches 3 days ago and is now easily 2 feet tall. Bud shows no sign of opening yet.
Perhaps I will blip it tomorrow... hoping to see the flower colour by Christmas... won't be on this coming Flower Friday. I have a lovely blooming indoor hellebore to blip then.
