Fishing On The Tyne

Our son arrived from London last night to spend Christmas with us - great to see him as always.  Today we went to Hexham and parked by the river and walked to The Boatside pub in Warden (a couple of miles away) where the three of us enjoyed a lovely pub lunch.  Only downside was the track by the river was extremely mucky.  Three pairs of trainers now waiting to be cleaned.

Not sure what the man was fishing for but on a previous walk here I passed a man who was carrying a huge salmon that he had caught.
