Adventure

Morning in Stirling, quick stop-off in Denny on my way to an afternoon in Falkirk, then a train trip through to Edinburgh in the evening - that was my Thursday.

The reason for my journey to Edinburgh was to visit the fabulous Ice Adventure - a series of fantastic ice sculptures, all with a Scottish theme. Larger-than-life sculptures of wildlife, of mythical creatures, of history; it was breathtaking (as was the -10° temperature inside the 'tent' housing the show.)

A good day. And there haven't been too many of these recently. Maybe a corner is being turned.
