Anyway - off to Geneva - very strange landing in Switzerland, walking through a couple of hermetically sealed doors and there you are in France, where the car hire (and everything else) is so much cheaper.

Lake Geneva is stunning. We stayed in a village just up into the hills behind Evian. Everthing is closed, because it is not summer (that ended at end of september) and not yet skiing (Christmas). Everone is off on their hols...
