Fashion in Lausanne, Switzerland

Today we took a boat trip across Lake Geneva /Lac Leman to Lausanne. An amazing, clean and costly city. Its built on a river gorge, so knee-breaking hills to climb - sometimes with alternate stairs, or even lifts or escalators if you are lucky.

The International Olympic Museum is there - the main museum is closed for major renovations, and there is a temporary exhibition housed in a beautiful old 19thC steamer moored on the Lakeside. We looked at a display of all the different torches and medals that have been designed and produced for each of the Olympics since it all began, winter and summer - surprisingly interesting. Its a massive buisness, never mind the actual atheletes !

But this is what I decided to blip - its the 'other side' of Lausanne. Not sure what you'd call it : swiss-scottish punk maybe ? Interesting that Swiss lads still wearning multicoloured Mohicans... I felt rather nostalgic for the punk era in UK..
