An unusual flower blip today.  I've been wanting to show the detail in one of the masked weaver birds nests and found a rejected one under the plumbago today. The males spend a lot of time and energy creating these beautifully woven nests but often the female is too picky and does not like it and destroys it.  The base of this was beautifully soft mossy material - but too flimsy so the male never got to finish the tunnel entrance before it was discarded. I love the detail in their weaving work. It is so intricate.
