Christmas Eve in Ipanema

During a morning of work in our studio, Bb got a surprise email saying that he'd been awarded the 'Team Member of the Year' from IESE Business School. What a lovely surprise and very well deserved! We walked out for a late lunch and found feijoada on the menu in a popular place on Rua Bolivar which did the job for lunch very nicely.  The heavens opened up during our lunch, but it was still hot and we were under a shade, so we had no complaints!  We then headed along the sweep of the front to where Copacabana and Ipanema join. My blip was taken here.  A houseless person was sheltering under the eaves of a kiosk and Bb had already decided to give him a Christmas gift when he suddenly decided to help us find a taxi.  Just as Bb was this morning, he was delighted with his unexpected gift and shared his surprise and pleasure immediately with the kiosk owners.
