Bb in Rio on Christmas Day

Merry Christmas!

And here we are in Copacabana Palace, our one big treat for our stay in Rio. The buffet's amazing and makes Christmas Day soooo easy! We've already both had oysters, Bb's had lobster. We've both had an array of starters and, yes, we had a little turkey, but no roast potatoes or brussels. The Brazilian picanha made up for it. Can't have everything. We're in the shade with temperatures of high 30s and about to hit the dessert buffet. And then there's cheese!

We've had a call with my family and will connect with Bb's later today.
