The Princess and the Dog

‘Twas The Night Before Christmas

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Christmas Eve! I went into crazy cleaning mode where my family take cover and are nowhere to be seen and I do my best impression of the Tasmanian devil on speed.

Just as I was happy that the house was clean enough for Santa to visit, Kitty Cat, Marsh and their brood came round. Kitty Cat assured me once again (as she presented me with wine) that alcohol has medicinal qualities so we got into the Christmas spirit with a few glasses of mulled wine. I helpfully fed her children lots of sugary snacks. They were so excited that they practically had to be peeled of the ceiling when they left. I suspect that Kitty Cat and Marsh were more in need of the medicinal qualities of alcohol than me.

In the evening, the Normals curled up and watched Elf which is one of my favourite Christmas films. I love that even though the Mini Princesses are older, they still get so excited about Christmas. We filled Murphy’s stocking and negotiated an 8 am rise!

"The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear."

I hope you both have an amazing Christmas.

Love always,

C
