Seals after their Christmas Lunch

Merry Christmas everyone. 
It was a pretty blustery walk along the beach at about 1pm. We could see Seal Beach in the distance - and it was covered in seals! It looked as if they were having a good lie down after their Christmas lunch.
Unfortunately, at about midnight last night,  just when we about to go onto Skype, my camera was knocked from the side table where I had left it recharging (and not by either of us I hasten to add!). The camera is ok but it can't recognise the lens. I've tried the lens in another camera and it's just the same, and it looks very likely that I need to get a replacement (15-60mm).  I was not a happy bunny. I can now only use the 55-210 zoom so I'm pretty restricted (hence the seal blip). 
First thing this morning C took the boys out for a walk and on his way back he smacked his head on the bottom of the open baby gate as he came up the stairs, so he gave me my presents with blood trickling down his face.
We had a good Skype session at about midnight and watched our family opening their presents. It was lovely to see their excited little faces. Our grandsons looked really happy too.
