Finally, mince pies

Went to a Christmas Eve spin class at the gym. Fun session and good to be able to breathe enough again to attempt the class. Braved the local m&S for bread for lunch and a few bits and pieces. They had a guy in the car park directing cars with runway style red light batons. Glad to have walked up as the shop was very busy.

Finally got round to doing some baking in the afternoon. A few mince pies and a chocolate Christmas cake that the four of us will be able to enjoy.

Son number one finished his shift helping to get turkey and festive food orders out at 3pm. We celebrated the start of the Christmas break with stiff gins and then finished the present wrapping in shifts.

NFL to watch late in the evening. I didn't quite make it to the end of the match before I had to turn in.
