Christmas cake

An unconventional Christmas cake - no fruit but lots of chocolate!

Went for a walk with the boys in the morning. It was quiet by the river and not too cold.

We came back for a late breakfast of croissants, pains au chocolate and Bucks Fizz. Presents opened and then a steep learning curve to have a go with one of the new board games.

We added to our unconventional day by digging into a pile of sandwiches made with home-made bread (and turkey and stuffing for the non-vegetarian).

Finished the day with NFL on the TV and a chance to set up my new tablet.
