Ssssss . . .

snake - found on the pathway this morning. No idea what it is - did not stop to ask as these slithering things are not my favourite wildlife. Later I went out into the farm game park to see the little Amur Falcons that had landed there to rest, possibly en route back to the east. They breed in Siberia/China and fly to SA for the winter, over India, where I gather they are shot and eaten....so tiny I cant see much meat on them.  The storks were flying high and the king fishers making a huge noise complaining about the paparazzi no doubt!
Very overcast today and poor light, a few spots of rain, so mainly an indoors and jigsaw type day.
