Diary of an Edinburgher

Snow!

Well, that’s the silly Christmas pudding jumper packed away for another year, much to JR's relief.

After yesterday's over-indulgence, sensible, restrained eating has been the order of the day. In fact, a (large) fresh fruit salad has been it for the day. Well, until a few leftovers for tea. NO chocolate!

There was some snow in the back garden. And on the cars. How exciting! But there was lots of the white stuff up the hill, and on the Meadows. Elizabeth came to take Archie out, and they had great fun in the sun and snow. Bailey and her mum were also up the hill today, but at different times. Elizabeth took videos of Archie rolling about blissfully in the snow. This shot is by Elizabeth too, of course.

In the afternoon, we thought we'd better have a wee bit of exercise, and so we took Archie down to the Meadows, and there was lots of snow still there (extra) and evidence of sledging down the (very modest) slope.

Hmmm... There is a tempting bit of leftover Christmas pudding and custard in the fridge...

Many thanks for all your Christmas greetings.
