Saturday Shopping

Trip down to the market this morning to start the weekend. This is in the indoor section - the dried fish part, to be precise. I will hasten to add that we did not purchase any dried fish, mainly because we would have no idea what to do with it.

We have had to change the way we shop here. We used to know what we needed and shop accordingly. Here, it is much more seasonal so you need to know what is in season and then adapt accordingly. It makes for quite a refreshing change actually. Pumpkins and mushrooms are the big things of the moment.

All week I have had a hankering for chicken noodle soup.......and I now have some simmering on the stove. All in all, a very cosy damp day.
