Goldcrest

After the gales of yesterday I found this (female?) Goldcrest wet & bedraggled under the steps into the Bridge. Going by the wind direction I guess it may have come from Norway or Demark.
There is a hawk of some sort from one of the Platforms going about and I guess this would make a hawks ideal canape.
The Goldcrest is now residing in my cabin, drying out and trying out bits of pork rind as insect substitute.. We will be heading into Peterhead on Monday so I will release her there and she can winter in Scotland.
