Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

By Carol

2017 Sunday -- Christmas Eve

Eight, no! It's nine years of Blipping. A purple camera! I originally started blipping on January 5, 2009, so I wasn't at all expecting this. I have blipped a few photos that pre-dated my beginnings as a Blipper and that's what has brought about this "earlier than I expected" celebration moment. I want to express "thanks" to everyone at Blip Central and to the entire community. This is a marvelous place with amazing people. I've never regretted starting my blip journey or the daily continuing. I have lots of valuable history and trivia recorded here. I was at one time terribly addicted to this site and stayed addicted for about 3 years, and then managed to get a grip on reality and the need to do other things, so my presence in the community today is hardly known, and that's okay. I plan to keep this journey going. Thank you in advance for anyone who takes their precious moments to leave a comment.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.

Dec. 26, 2017--Back-Blipping: We almost never receive any mail here at our little beach house, so when Mr. Fun found the snowman card late this afternoon in our mailbox, I was completely surprised. It was from "Joy" a person I met through a Facebook Christmas card exchange. She paints her own design and then reproduces it to craft together handmade cards. A few weeks ago she had sent me her card from last year. It's been fun getting to know Joy through private communication on Facebook's Messenger. She lives in Kentucky.

The Christmas flowers were captured today from the floral department in Albertson's grocery store. We had gone to Tidelands Park in Morro Bay to walk the pups and on our way back to the house stopped to get the last few items needed for tomorrow's holiday meal when I decided to get a few photos for my blip.
