2017 Monday -- Christmas Morning
Thank YOU everyone for the congratulatory comments on my 9th Year Blip-Anniversary yesterday. Amazing! When I started this Blip journey I never dreamed I'd record so much life. Some of you don't know that I don't share my blip with family or friends. So I publish my thoughts for the whole world, but none of my friends or family. I don't have to worry about stepping on feelings or angering anyone that I am close with. I'm sure that sounds crazy, but it's quite liberating. I really do need to gather my best pages into a book for safe keeping. Big job! Sigh!
12/25/2017 Christmas Day Thoughts
I realize that this photo does not at all look Christmasy. Sorry! Here at our little beach house we did not decorate. But Chloe wants everyone to know that this is what a mid-morning Christmas nap looks like.
Folks, we stayed in our jammies for hours and dedicated this day to relaxation. Mr. Fun & I did have a delicious homemade holiday meal for two (roasted turkey breast, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls, and pumpkin pie & whipped cream). We were dining as we watched the sun disappear into the Pacific Ocean.
This wasn't our most festive December 25th, but it certainly required little labor, and we experienced no drama, and the leisure was amazing. This was our 53rd Christmas together, but who's counting!
Merry Christmas
(sorry this is back-blipped -- 12/29/2017),
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
P.S. I love this photo of Chloe snoozing. She is my snuggle buddy, but so are Mitzi and Max.
