Goldfinch!

We were due to drive up to Castle Bromwich to see my father-in-law today, but decided to stay at home after we had much more overnight snow than we expected. We also had a long power cut this morning - thank goodness we have a gas stove and hob so were able to get some heating and a hot drink.
There was enough snow to build another snowman and I finally managed to get a photo of a goldfinch.
Will probably do the Castle Bromwich expedition tomorrow.
