What a day!

We set off this morning for our Christmas trip up to Harrogate to see N’s family... just about 7.5 hours later we arrived. The weather was atrocious for the first half (distance wise) and the traffic blighted us for the second half.

Still, we’ve arrived safely at the hotel/apartment that we booked as there is no room at our usual inn (with N’s brother). Poor L had to have a complete change of clothes on the side of a freeeeeezing road due to a little accident... so the washing machine has already been on!
