Devil's Beeftub

Today's the day ......................... to head north

A lovely journey up to Edinburgh - with none of the problems being suffered by those in the Midlands and southeast.

It was very cold with a covering of snow on the hills.  But the roads were clear and we were able to travel our usual route through the Borders via Moffat and the Devil's Beeftub.  The view from there was spectacular with the moon just beginning to rise in a blue, blue sky.

And now we are happily settled in the bosom of the family for the next few days.  The extra below was taken just before the slide show - which I'm pleased to report was as well received as ever......................
