Nature's Ice Sculptures

Anyone who has followed my journal for a while will recognize "my" waterfall.  I haven't been here for a while and when I needed a winter scene today I hoped that it would be frozen.  The cold and snow we've had this past week did the job!  This really looks much better large.  Many thanks to BobsBlips for hosting Wide Angle Wednesdays and to Cailleach for hosting Wild Wednesdays.  I thought this image could work for both but I've also added a "wild" American Kestrel as my first extra.  My second extra is the view down the river beyond the waterfall.

I am grateful that Boulder County has so much designated open space and greenbelt land.  This is 5 minutes from home. :-)
