On Golden Pond

I had to wait in for a delivery this morning, which was very frustrating with it being so nice and sunny outside.
My delivery came at lunch time, so after lunch I went for an extremely chilly walk round the country park .............there was still lots of frost and ice around in the sheltered spots which made for a bit of a white knuckle experience and some bad Torvil and Dean impressions on some occasions..........but thankfully, I'm still in one piece although I think I used a few muscles that didn't know I had as they're complaining a bit :-/
I was just about to pack up and leave when the sun started setting.....it looked so beautiful I just had to stay a bit longer even though I was chilled to the bone ( I've added a few extras for you as was so hard to choose a main blip ).
All warm and toasty now though and all the fresh air has made me tired, so I should sleep well tonight :-))
