White Roses on a White Day

We woke up to an unexpected coating of snow this morning.  The pond is frozen and now has a glistening, untouched layer of sparkle.  It is still uncomfortably cold outside, so I was glad I had this bunch of white roses.  Today my son and his wife head back to Boston, and tomorrow the rest of us leave for New Jersey and Maryland.  This week has gone by so fast!
