Waxwing
It's been a stunning day. Cold but calm, and sunshine all day. The ground is white with snow and frost.
Up early and mam popped over after breakfast. We headed to Burra to pick up Elise, and a run around the isle too. Met them again in the afternoon, and then off to the galley shed for a while. Out with friends later tonight.
The first time I've ever had a waxwing bits in my garden was today. He fluttered about various parts of the garden, before settling down. I get plenty of birds visiting, but this has to be my most exotic yet, and hopefully more. The berries were too tempting. Taken at Houl Road, Scalloway.
