Vision on

This started out as a not very well thought out blip in which I intended to use the Blipfoto webpage in some way as part of the challenge, but I lost track of where I was going with it somehow.

However, it finished up looking like an old TV we used to have in the days when it was necessary to leave one's seat to change channels by twisting one of the control knobs that were located on a panel to the right of the screen.

That panel also contained the on/off switch, which, when twisted clockwise gave us "Vision on" ...eventually, once the "tube" had warmed up.

And if that's not a convoluted attempt to shoehorn something into the challenge I don't know what is!
