Hogmanay

A busy day with final shopping, lots of tidying and cleaning (not to the old tradition of cleaning everything); setting tables then a hospital visit.

Back and changed 5 minutes before our friends arrived for dinner. We ate early to let the younger generation - we’ll our son at least - get into town. The rest of us settled down and had a “pub quiz”. Not easy and lots of guesses: ended in an honourable draw.

The tree still looked in good shape so it makes the blip.

Then just time for a quick dash to the attic to hopefully capture the blip for 1 January 2018.
