Happy New Year!

It’s been a quiet day, and Roger and I are spending a quiet New Years Eve at home, enjoying the candlelight. Laura is out, seeing in the New Year with friends. After church in the morning, and a grocery shop on the way home, I fixed us roast pork for dinner. While it was cooking, we talked with my brother Peter, sister-in-law, Judy and my sister Janet, who is spending New Years with them. The last four years when we were living in France, we had spent the New Year period altogether at Janet’s, so I am really missing them all this year. After our dinner, the three of us worked some more on the jigsaw puzzle we started yesterday, before Laura left at about 5pm. Wishing my readers a blessed, peaceful and Happy New Year!
