Flower power

Katharine and Jack have declared that we will be celebrating a Happy Hippy New Year this evening so Mr hazelh and I have been busy preparing appropriate outfits for our Hogmanay dinner.

Mr hazelh has raided my wardrobe and will be wearing a pair of my wide-legged linen trousers, a kaftan cover-up that I don at the poolside when on holiday, and half the contents of my jewellery box.

I will celebrate flower power with a bargain £10 purchase from H&M. I blip the detail of the satin dress that I bought this morning, reduced from £35.  (I'm not sure if I will wear it 'in real life', but I could always transform it into a cushion cover!)

Exercise today: walking (19,174 steps); 35 minute 'run' (with some walking due to knee pain)
