London!

We went for a Mummy and katie day in London today! We left very early, were there by 9.15... we went to the swing outside the station, had a great time exploring the British library for the first time and then walked over to Trafalgar Square. We got a spot of lunch in Leicester Square before we met uncle simon for a quick drink.

Our only "planned activity" of the day was seeing the ENB Nutcracker. A friend of ours was a junior dancer so it was extra exciting. We got to see Mia at the stage door afterwards.

We went to Covent Garden after the show and wandered some of the pretty Christmas lights. We headed through Leicester Square to Carnaby Street but it was crazy busy. It wasn't that long before we needed to go to the underground. The machines had decided to reject my bank card so instead of paying twice the fare (travel cards are crazy more than using a debit card!) katie suggested we just walk. We even made it in time for a last swing and some tea at the station for her!
