Taking the plunge

I'm not sure where my daughters got the gene for doing crazy things, but this morning they joined two friends of ours, Mel and Sheila, in marking the start of 2018 with a dip in the sea. There was frost on the ground when they set off, but they didn't hesitate and plunged into the water at Cullen beach. (Where some of us find the sea a touch chilly even in Summer!)

It was Mel's idea, and this is her enjoying it!
