After a lazy morning completing our 2017 time capsule and adding our wishes for 2018 to our wishing tree we headed to the coast.

We had a lovely afternoon eating fish and chips, playing in the arcade and playing in the park. The highlight though was watching the sun set over the horizon out at sea whilst sipping our hot chocolates. What a wonderful way to see out the old year.

We then went to my mums house for tea and to stay the night. The kiddies were well excited to try out the bunk beds. We watched a film and stayed up to see the fireworks in London and then went to bed ourselves. Such party animals!
