Happy new year!

I met up with a group of friends to go for a new year walk. When I was picked up at 12.30pm it was raining but by the time we drove out to the nearest bit of countryside south of London it had dried up. The plan was for an 8 mile walk but it was very muddy and with some steep hills that we were sliding up and down. When we'd walked a bit over 3 miles and had 45 mins of daylight left, we cut out a section and headed back to the cars. 4 miles in total, followed by a drink in a lovely pub. 

A good start to the year. Very different climate to last year in Phnom Penh!
