(BackBlip) Rome from the roof top.....

of the Victor Emmanuel Monument. It is quite a hairaising trip in the glass lift on the outside of the building, especially if you don't like heights, however the views over Rome are fabulous.
We nearly missed the view as we didn't know it was possible to go up to the top. Luckily however, some other aussie tourists told us about it. You have to walk the 128 steps up to the Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli and then turn left and you will find the lift up a bit to the right. (better in large)
